PALLET STORAGE
Pallet storage, or palletisation, refers to the placing of goods or materials onto pallets (a flat wooden structure) to act as a foundation for heavy loads.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PALLET STORAGE?
This is an ideal way to store goods as it prevents product damage since they sit on a raised surface which reduces the risk of interference from water, dirt or debris on the ground.
It also provides drainage and circulation, so if you are storing perishable goods, they will remain safe and fresh.
Furthermore, pallet storage provides a strong and sturdy base for your goods which can withstand a lot of weight without risk of breakage and can be transported a lot quicker and easier with fork-lift trucks which reduces the risk of damage that is present when goods are transported through other methods, such as manual handling.
Our high bay warehouse has a 24,000 pallet capacity and is 15m to the eaves, serviced by man up VNA forklifts, ideal for fast moving, pallet-in pallet-out, storage.
This ensures that your orders are transported around the warehouse quickly and safely so that they can be delivered to customers as efficiently as possible, resulting in excellent customer service.
There are a further 9,000 pallet spaces in 8m high racking, serviced by articulated vehicles, ideal for pick and pack operations.
Our 16-acre site operates with high security to guarantee the safety of your goods. This includes a 24/7 manned security gatehouse, barrier-controlled vehicle access and 52 internal and external cameras monitoring the activity on our site at all times.
